Diver

Candidate must have a Commercial Diving Certificate from an accredited Dive School and must be a member of either LU 1556 or 179. Preference is given to certified welders with experience in underwater burning and welding. Experience in pile jacketing a plus.

Estimator

Ideal candidate should be self-motivated, and driven to work independently finding project leads and prepare bids. Candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management with proficiency in HCSS. Candidate should have prior experience in Heavy and Highway Construction and should be capable of working independently. In addition to estimating, candidate will be doing project management.

Engineer

MECHANICAL-MARINE PROJECT ENGINEER (Bridgeport, NJ): Use mechanical engineering principles to develop drawings, conduct material analysis and component selection for large scale marine infrastructure projects. Review contract requirements, client technical specifications, proposals and comprehend various types of marine structures. Generate CAD drawings of marine/port structures. Estimate material quantities from drawings for bidding purposes and procure pricing from vendors. Compile and track Requests for Information, and perform preliminary review of fabrication shop drawings and data. Interact with project, engineering and supply chain managers for material procurement. Prepare technical content, and resolve all contract issues with experts. Develop new ideas/design concepts to improve productivity and cost reduction. Work with project manager on contract changes regarding price or scope. Investigate /visit site for bids, resolve field engineering issues, sketch layouts for material delivery and access. Understand and interpret national codes and standards such as ASTM, ASME and AWS. Must have a Masters in Mechanical Engineering degree with coursework in marine structures. Must also have 1 year of engineering experience in marine work involving barges, marine rigs & floating equipment. Must also have expertise in HCSS, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Solidworks through coursework or 1 year of experience. Send cvl/res to M. Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced marine professional who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the marine construction process in a cost-effective manner. Our managers are expected to work closely with engineers, owners and architects to develop plans, obtain permits and execute the project to full profitability. Our managers plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. Expectations are to analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
